What Grocery Stores Do Markdowns And When?

College student trying to save money. I mainly shop at Euclid Kroger, but there are other places I can make it to if needed. I’m curious when the best times/days are to shop for discounted foods. I’ve heard about Kroger “red bag” produce sales but I’m not sure if they have those here. Thanks for any advice!
