Help. Husband diagnosed with Leukemia - waiting to find more details .. I’m so lost

Hi everyone. My husband went to the doctor for some migraines, got bloodwork done finally for his physical and … then things escalated fast. His doctor called to send him to the ER.. then they transferred him to a larger learning hospital.. now he’s admitted in critical care tower.. and got a bone marrow biopsy and picc line.

They say they don’t know what kind of leukemia yet and I am so overwhelmed. People are telling me to look into where to het him treated and I don’t know where to start

I’m wrangling our 3 little girls … he’s in the hospital … I don’t live near family…

So I guess after rambling here are my questions

• why does he have a picc? People are telling me there are treatments where he can do pills instead? I’m scared here because oh my gosh the amount of blood he lost from that thing when it was looked at sideways was jarring

• does he just stay in Vandy? Or is there some sort of first treatment then we look into a different place for continual care?

I don’t know what my next steps are. I want to help him and be there. They said only 2 people in at a time and I have 3 kids and I’m just so overwhelmed.

Any advice? Help?
