What made you get into recording videos?

Hey everyone, I was just lurking through this subreddit and got to thinking. What made you guys decided to finally start recording your game play? I’ve only been uploading regularly for about2 months, but what got me interested in recording was when Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis started giant bomb and they would just record while playing.
