Should I try to fix this with hydrogen peroxide or just get new ones?

I stupidly left a few minifigs in the sun a few years back and they have been like this ever since.. it hurts to see them like this and I want to get rid of with by using hydrogen peroxide. Problem is I’ve heard several stories that it basically comes back but worse.. so, should I still do it or just try to buy new ones even though they’re quite pricy (especially Rex) ? Love to hear from you guys!
