Can I get out of wage garnishment

So I’m currently getting garnished for 25% and I didn’t realize the process was happening until it came out of my paycheck. I’ve been homeless for about a year. So I don’t have an address. So I didn’t receive notice that I was being garnished until it was too late. So now it really sucks and the amount I’m being garnished by is over 16k for a car I had about 5 years ago. Is there anything I can file to show them like hey I was homeless and still currently homeless. I cant pay 25% out of each check. Someone told me there’s nothing I can do because it’s already court ordered but again I was homeless and didn’t receive any of this. The mailing address they had is an address I never stayed at. Would if I just keep moving jobs?
