What's Next After Andrew Ng's Coursera Coursera - Beginner Seeking Advice
Good morning, and good day to fellow data scientists!
I'm a University student going into my 2nd year starting from August. In the mean time that I had for free ( my summers ), I learned machine/deep learning from certain sources on encouragement from my seniors.
In my time, I have almost completed almost ( in theory ) the "Introduction To Machine Learning" course by Andrew Ng ( couldn't attend the exercises because the course was starting from 8th July, and I had began in June. Currently, I'm doing The Deep Learning Specialization course by deeplearning.ai, but I'm sure where to head next after I finish. I'm a slow learner because any time I don't understand a concept, I look up and read article
Generally, I'm interested in text generation ( played around with NLP a bit ), GANs, and Image Detection and Recognization.
What should I start learning next, considering my interests? What is the best course of action, because I want to make a professional career out of this field. For the time being, I'm considering following this list: https://www.reddit.com/r/MachineLearning/comments/5z8110/d_a_super_harsh_guide_to_machine_learning/ .
Thanks for your time!
