APC Viable in 12.11?

I've recently started playing with a friend in duo down bot, he loves support, especially Leona, and I've been trying a variety of ADC champs but I hate the ADC playstyle. Ive tried really hard to learn it and get into it but I just don't have fun or do well. I love playing mages but I was curious if APC is viable down bot and if so which ones? I was in love with Swain for a while but after 12.11 he feels like he just tickles with his damage and his sustainability doesn't seem enough to counter this. Any help is massively appreciated!!!
