I’m scared

So what happened was 5 days ago I clicked a link on my telegram and suddenly some ads started popping and when I click cross some virus got in my laptop and I got scared I searched for it on yt and used mrt scan and it took a day to complete and there were 5 virus in laptop but still my laptop was showing that there are virus in your laptop it’s on risk, someone’s downloading files is it you? And I disconnected my wifi connection and the notifications stopped today when I connected to the wifi there are no such notifications now I’m even even more scared is it a good sign or not??
