Flying ants plague tonight??

Just tried to take a bike ride with my kids through the neighborhood (up near Battle Ground), and we were accosted with gazillions of itchy, flying bugs that stuck to us by the dozens as we rode and forced us to turn around. The heck are they?? 😵‍💫
