Why does my lab eat EVERYTHING

Third time I've had to induce vomiting for a swallowed object. My two year old son shed his sock while I was getting him a snack and she snatched it up while I wasn't looking. She just turned one year old. Do they grow out of this, or does it just come with the territory? She's learned every command I've thrown at her, she runs/walks for at least an hour daily, minimum 15 minutes of obedience training, and has another dog to play with.
