K-pop idols are becoming more and more chronically online and I'm all here for it 😭

As someone who joined K-pop around the peak of 3rd gen, I definitely already saw that there were some idols out there who would constantly check social media and follow the trends, but overall, they weren't exactly very common. However, nowadays I am noticing that most 4th and more especially 5th gen idols are SO OBVIOUSLY chronically online to the point that they know many fandom inside jokes, viral Tiktok trends (hell even edits), and even make their own memes. I linked some of my absolute favorite examples so far recently. I've also noticed how hyper-aware they are about their fandom and how they playfully tease their fans. It's really concerning (affectionately) how much some idols know certain things LMAO. Personally, I think it makes them so much more relatable and helps me remember that they are just like us.

Of course, this could be a double-edged sword as I'm sure its also possible for them to see negativity and hate but I'm hoping that their FYPs are flooded with positivity from their own fandoms to the point that all the hate is drowned. What do you guys think? Who would you guys say are the most chronically online idols? Please do share your favorite examples!
