American visiting

Greetings. I am an American who visits India for 6 months every year and will be coming to Kozhikode in April. I am looking for some suggestions if possible.

I am a sports man so I swim, gym, yoga daily if you have some suggestions. Also, generally I tend to stay near rail or bus stations for ease of transport and to get around to other places. Any suggestions for accommodations/hostel with budget under $20 night. I generally like to stay places for a month and will be going to Pooram in Thrissur in May.

If you are interested in saying hi or having a coffee or tea just drop a message. Basically, I love music, travel, fitness, healthy living, non religious, and very liberal (from California). Oh, I also have a full body tattoo if that matters.
