I don’t understand German short rows

Hi! I need a little help for german short rows. I’m knitting a sweater that uses german short rows, but I don’t understand the instructions. This is my second sweater.

It’s this pattern https://www.un-told.no/products/more-mohair-sweater-english

I’m about to knit yoke after the neckline with circular needle and and the pattern says:

1st row (rs): Knit right back piece to 1st stm, * M1R, slip stm, knit 2 raglan-sts, slip stm, M1L *, knit to next stm, repeat from * to *. K1 front piece st, 1 turning-st, turn.

2nd row (ws): Purl all sts to round’s beginning.

3rd row (ws): Purl left back piece to 1st stm, * M1R, slip stm , p 2 raglan-st, slip stm, M1L *, purl to next stm, repeat from * to *. P1 front piece st, 1 turning-st, turn and knit to round’s beginning.

4th row (rs): Knit to round’s beginning.

I have watched a few videos for German short rows, but most of the examples are for normal needles… Especially I don’t understand what is ‘knit right back piece’ and ‘purl left back piece’. Am I supposed to knit from left to right all the way?

Any tips, or videos would be helpful 🙏 Thanks!
