I love and hate my Kindle

Hi everyone! Happy New Year to you all!

I have a love-hate relationship with my Kindle, and here’s why. Though, to be fair, it’s probably my fault 😅.

I love reading on my Kindle because it’s a lightweight, plastic device that I don’t have to worry about too much—no stress about the battery life or scratches. That’s pretty great.

It’s also an amazing device for reading in general. Recently, I’ve been using my iPad more for reading, but let me tell you, it’s definitely not the same. My eyes start burning really quickly, and holding a 10.9” tablet for long periods? Not fun.

Here’s my issue: it’s soooo much easier to put books on an iPad than on a Kindle. Sometimes, I really struggle to find certain books for my Kindle. For context, I’m French and living in Canada, so I’m not sure if this has something to do with the Kindle store or availability in my region.

On top of that, if I want to use EPUB files I already own, I have to convert them to a Kindle-compatible format first, which is a bit of a hassle.

So, I’m curious: what are your tips and tricks for making the most out of a Kindle? And do you have any advice for converting books easily?

Thanks in advance for your help!
