keychron v1 via not working

I am new to custom keyboards and just built my first one and i was wanting to get via so i can map some buttons and on the keychron website it said that the v1 is supported that you just need to put the json file in import keymap and when i do it via doesn't recognize it and i even tried updating the firmware and resetting it, unplugging replugging it, switching modes, not using the usb a adapter and nothing works. If someone knows a solution that will mean a lot thanks.
