I regret purchasing the k2500
So this damn thing, the k-2500, is my second one. The first one I bought in June 2024 went out with a error code 20 after several error codes 17 & 22 about 6 weeks or so after purchase. Keurig sent me another and this is where we are. We're constantly having to take the needle out and clean it, and even sometimes we have to completely turn it off and unplug it because it will keep displaying "brewing" while pushing air out. It's overly frustrating. I'm not even sure if I should bother contacting them to get a replacement when this one eventually goes out in the near future.
I guess this is just a buyer beware post. I feel like if we're going to pay over $300 for a coffee maker, that we shouldn't have to do regular maintenance on it to get it to do it's only job lol
- It does it mostly on a 12oz brew, but has done it on 8oz.
- It's plumbed to the waterline behind the fridge with the same waterline, but new valve, that was on my k150p.
- The whole house is filtered so I don't use an additional filter. (Hmm could that be an issue?)
- We use Great Value kcups. I use french roast, the rest of the house uses donut shop. I never have an issue with french roast cups, but they seem to get an error with the donut shop nearly every time.
- We get the error even with name brand kcups.
- Never got an error just running water through it.
