Five options for answering CET questions!
There were four options for answering each question till now. To prevent exam malpractice, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has allowed five options. If a student does not answer a particular question, they can mark the fifth option provided on the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet. There were reports of some candidates tampering with the OMR sheet after the examination in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) examinations. As per the recommendation of the committee formed in this regard, the fifth option in the OMR was recommended. The same method has been adopted by KEA. There will be three hours to answer the question papers. After the time limit is over, students will be given an additional five minutes to shade the fifth option, said KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.
