Electricity bill in JC downtown

We live in a 2b2b in JC downtown. I have been paying on $190 on an average since last 8-9 months. December's electricity bill was $230. My husband and I both work from home everyday and have central heating in the apartment. I want to know if everybody is paying similar amount or am I paying too much? I think there might be some insulation issues in my apartment.
