Asymmetrical movements post-op (upper jaw)

I am 6-weeks post op UJS (le fort 1, 10mm advancement). When I make an “O” shape with my mouth, you can see my lip/philtrum go to the right instead of down straight. My surgeon said the nerves that were damaged had to do with feeling and not movement so I don’t know how to explain this.

I also had a deviated septum prior to surgery which is now worse (plus the intubated nostril is so much larger than pre-op.)

Has anyone else experienced this type of movement before?

I’m hoping it’s temporary!

My upper lip is still swollen/puffy, my upper lip and nose still have that pins/needles feeling, I still have no feeling in my gums, but I suspect all of that will (hopefully) resolve in a few months?
