Straightforward offline music app for iOS?

After a couple of experiences with the built-in Music app not wanting to play my own files I loaded via iTunes sync, I'm looking for a simple iOS app that just loads files into playlists and plays them. No streaming or other services beyond that. Does anyone have any recommendations?
