What accounts should i have open.

Im 19 and work in the HVAC trade. i want to start investing for retirement and dont know where to start. i hear people tell me to by random stocks/crypto and youtube says open a Roth IRA/401k honestly very confused with the whole idea of it. i make 20 an hour and 40 hour weeks, pretty much everyday of the year. if anyone have ideas or help its much appreciated.
