Bathroom remodel ideas!
I've been saving up for the last three years to finally do my bathroom but the decision paralysis is KILLING me! So would love some thoughts/advice. I've finally decided on a soft green (like Farrow & Ball Mizzle - but now it looks very grey to me so will keep swatching). My bathroom is south facing and gets LOTS of light but I want it to feel fresh and clean (swipe to the end to see my bathroom before....it's very WHITE).
- Main thing to note is I AM ON A BUDGET. I am not tiling the walls, currently its just the bath/shower area that's tiled so I will stick to that and paint the other walls.
- Also my house is a victorian terrace hence why I've leaned a little into the traditional look.
- The mirror is gold...just because I already own it. I'm not that against mixing metals so thought I'd keep it
- I'm unsure about the floor tiles. I know for my shower/bath tiles I want big marbley tiles (rather than small tiles with lots of grout) - my current tiles are shiny and white and they are such a pain. You can see all marks on them, even slipper marks or water marks AND strands of hair (my pet peeve). I think I want something a bit more matte/satin rather than shiny but I know shiny is nicer to clean!
- Any ideas on what to use for the sink splash back? Some small tiles?
- Does the whole thing look dull? Will it look washed out?
To be honest I definitely could've afforded this last year but I was too indecisive. I've gone from wanting dark mossy green wall panelling, to nude/beige walls, to terracotta walls to now a pale sage green. I need to stop and just do something now
