question about instax share sp-2

hi! i have a super old instax share sp-2 printer (probably about 8-9 years old) which i haven’t used in recent years. but recently i wanted to try using it again and after printing out a photo, the picture came out looking blueish/greenish.

i am unsure of what is causing this — is it because the film i am using is too old (many years past expiration date, similar to age of the printer) or the printer itself is broken?

i was wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences, before i buy some new film to try printing because it feels like a waste of money to do that if the printer itself isn’t working already.

(i also have a very old instax mini i bought in 2012 and haven’t used recently… if the film does turn out to be weird looking too, could it be a camera issue or a film issue?)

thank you in advance for any help/advice! ☺️
