What is your favourite anime and why?

I'm surprised that I've never seen anyone ask this question here. I love anime but I haven't seen too many. I'd say my favorite is Vinland Saga. The story building, fight scenes, atmosphere and characters are all top notch. I'm not one who usually looks for action first, hence why I'm not a huge fan of shows like jjk, dragon ball etc. They can feel mindless at times. But Vinland has a perfect mix between season 1 and 2. Thorfinn might just be the most well written character in all of anime that I've seen. He reminds me of me in season 2, he really connects to his inner feelings, cares about others and just wants peace in the world. He's ready and more than willing to take a treacherous journey to an unknown place for it, which it's always been my dream to do something like that. I would say my runner up is JoJo's bizarre adventure which I'm still currently watching. So far it's been amazing! The vibes, the characters, the cheesy references and everything else. Joseph Joestar is such a great character. But yeah, I'm interested to see what y'all's favourites are!
