How to do perfect blood smear?

this is an reference image of how my blood smear looks like... please tell me is there any tips and tricks to do a perfect smear ?

I can do everything in physiology practical except this Smear !! and I've also missed the DLC practical classes... so I've bought some slides to practice it at home ...how to practice this ?? I have my 1st semester physio practical exam on 27 th jan
