Celebrating Cricket is Just Absurd.
Before ya'll come down and call me an Anti-Indian, hear me out!
Everytime it's just same set of 4 teams that reach the semi-finals in every tournament. And literally India has played final of every ICC tournament since 2011 (except 2016,19).
It's just boring to see that there is no real competition in cricket left. No region takes cricket so seriously like South Asia. Winning doesn't mean the same anymore. It's like "Andho Mai Kane Raja" type thing now.
Surely they say that cRiCkEt iS 2Nd mOsT wAtChEd sPoRt in the world but they don't see india got like a 1.4B population and talking real no one really watches Cricket outside of South Asia. Yes from Oceania they do but very small ratio compared to their population as well.
The dominance doesn't stop in the gameplay like reaching finals everytime but goes upto overriding ICC. BCCI can do whatever it wants like they did for CT 2025. Yeah security concern is real but still ICC couldn't hold up on its own decision and had to go with BCCI.
Doing fireworks for winning in a sport with literally dead competition is absurd. I mean we couldn't literally do shit in sports which the whole world plays like football, basketball, badminton. They say we won chess but don't know the real guy didn't play the championship.
Literally 0 gold medals in Olympics and celebrating like crazy for a sport which only 5-6 countries take seriously.
England is into football, AUS and NZ are into tennis.
So what's your opinion on this?
