11 inch M4 iPad Pro bricked

Not sure what happened but now my futuristic smart glass is now just a pane of glass. I followed the troubleshooting instructions online and even called support with no luck. I’ve got an appointment with the Genius’ tomorrow but until then “She’s dead Jim.”

Update: I had my appointment at the Apple Store yesterday afternoon. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect. The technician was very helpful, they ran diagnostics with their specialized cable. At first it was showing that it passed the power on test and had gone into DFU mode but it still wasn’t showing up on the Mac. This had the tech confused. They tried a few things to get the iPad to show in the Mac but no luck. They ran the diagnostic tests again with it failing the power on test this time. The technician is unsure how or why it showed the passed the first time.

They are replacing my M4 iPad, the only downside is I have to wait as there weren’t any in the store or surrounding stores for 50 miles. So I need to wait a few days for my replacement to arrive at the store for me to pick up.
