unconventional things to pack in hookah bowl

Hi, I'm newbie in topic only know a bit. I wonder if there are any herbs or other substances that may be smoked from hookah. In western europe, we have acces to herbals(based on tea leaves), pastes and rocks. Despite these stuff I am curiois if other things that peapole smoke, like lavender or catnip may be used. Alone with a bit of molasses or as an addition to tobacco or herbals.
