Maintenance at the dealership or something like Jiffy lube?
2021 AWD sport with 50k miles.
I need to do some regular maintenance on my truck but my local dealerships (Northern Utah) are terrible. One of them tries to tell me on stuff that's not needed (like new tires on 5k miles tires), and another one has no idea what needs to be done, even though I've only taken it there.
To make matters worse, whenever I take it to the dealership and ask truck specific questions, like towing capacity and transmission fluid needs, all of the advisors look around for answers, pass me around from advisor to advisor, and none of them end up having a single clue.
Is it really much worse to take it to a different non-dealership shop to get regular maintenance done? Any suggestions on which one?
I love the truck but Honda's support of it over 4 years has been absolutely disappointing and the only real reason why I might consider a different truck.
