Just throwing this out there for public awareness: Samsung S95B, I am now at my second Power Supply Board replacement in two years.
This TV has an incredibly beautiful image, one of the best I've seen... but absolutely horrible quality components.
I purchased it in late 2022. First Power Supply Board replacement was in January 2023, still under warranty, cost me nothing... and now, it has to be replaced again and the warranty has expired. Not only that, but the TV's internal speakers are defective as well (not an issue for me personally because I have a sound system but still... it speaks to the TV's construction quality).
When this TV WORKS... I love it... Th image is amazing... but now, I'm starting to wonder how many times will I have to replace the power board... Truly a headache.
I'm even starting to consider just absorbing the loss and buying a new TV... I'll give it another chance with this second Power Board... but if it happens again,I think I will be switching brands.
Luckily, I'm a hands on guy (HVAC technician) and I ordered the part myself and will be replacing it myself. I already removed the defective one. It's really easy. Once you remove the plastic panel in the back, there's only one screw and 2 jack plugs holding the board in place. I got the part off eBay from a reputable seller. Total cost out of pocket: $126.00.
Happy New Year!
