To mounting options
Hey guys, I recently got my S90C 65” and as you can tell from the picture I have a weird situation going on with the wood panelling. I have already ordered a Besta unit from ikea that will bring the tv up to the black drawn line (which is also the desired height), but if I can wall mount it, it would definitely be preferable.
I’ve searched for vertically adjustable mounts to place between the pegboard and the wood panelling on the wall, but they cost way too much. Would there be an issue drilling straight into the wood, to the point it reaches the wall behind it? The panelling is pretty old (over 30yo) and ideally I don’t want to put that much weight straight onto it alone.
Another option would be to get the UPPLEVA mount that goes straight into the besta but I’ve heard it’s finicky for >55”. Any opinions?
