Building a New Malware Lab on an OptiPlex : )

I want to stop doing malware development and debugging on local VMs. I also haven't had a type 1 hypervisor in some time due to spousal friendliness in a condo with no cable runs.

So I just pulled the trigger and bought an OptiPlex 7050 Micro i7-6700 for $375 from eBay that I'll be able to stuff with 32GB memory/1TB m.2 SSD from my old work laptop.

I'll install ProxMox and obv keep it on its own VLAN set by my pfSense box. This should make it a bit easier to use dynamic tools like INetSim and will make me more comfortable building out my own malware zoo repository.
