Garage door stuck in “closing” state in HomeKit via bridge
I have a Meross garage door opener integrated to HA and forwarded to HomeKit via HomeKit Bridge. For the most part, it works fine except for getting stuck in “closing” or “opening” states inside of HomeKit while the state in both HA and the Meross app show closed or open respectively.
The issue usually resolves itself over 15 minutes or so but it’s a long time to wait with something as important as knowing if your garage is closed or not.
There seems to be some sort of communication breakdown between HA and HomeKit where it’s not transitioning between states correctly. My suspicion is that it’s on the HomeKit side but I’m curious if there are any workarounds that people have found to help the garage door state stay in sync with HomeKit?
