Most beautiful hut-to-hut hikes in Europe?
Hi, fellow hikers!
I'm looking for a compromise with my boyfriend: I’d love to stay in our country and explore hut-to-hut trails in our national parks, while he’s eager to experience a new country. To meet in the middle, we’re planning a hut-to-hut hike somewhere in Europe, traveling by train from Norway to avoid flying.
Do you have recommendations for the most beautiful hut-to-hut hikes in Europe, perhaps in the Alps or Dolomites? We’re considering late June or sometime in July. I’ve been researching the Stubai High Trail but wonder if we’re too late to book accommodation and if it'll be too crowded.
We’re hoping to find a place that isn’t too crowded, where we can enjoy the peace and silence of nature. We’re in good shape and would love to hike 4-6 hours a day, ideally ending at a hut with good food (since I won’t be bringing a camp stove from Norway).
Thanks so much for any tips!
EDIT: to add photo from a trip we did in Norway.
