Any personal reviews for the Ralph Lauren Polo ID collection?

I’ve had my eye on this bag for a long time. A tan, compact, classic shoulder bag would fill a nice spot in my collection. Aesthetically I am drawn to the mini size, but included a snap of the small size in the second photo.

Specific questions I have:

Size: is the mini too small to be practical? For me that means room for phone, small makeup items, hand cream, and a credit card wallet — without it being too tight, bulging out when it’s packed up.

Quality: hardware and construction on point?

Durability: I tend to choose pebbled or grained leather — I can be a little hard on my things (working diligently to improve on this!). I love the smooth grain or this bag in particular. Will it look bad after a few uses if it gets scratched? Is the “worn” look actually a desirable patina in bags like this?
