Attention Off-Leash Dog Walkers of HRM

I had my dog and some of her friends off leash in the Long Lake Provincial Park this morning (using the Prospect Road, Halifax Exhibition Center entrance) and came across this suspicious pile of dog treats and food.

I would have just chalked it up to another dogs vomit, but I don't see any signs of bile or digestion. Additionally, the milk bones are not even chewed, and the lettering on them is still clearly legible, so it's hard to imagine a dog eating these and throwing them up in this manner.

I've heard of some dog poisoning events in other cities in the past, and would hate for anybody's dog to get sick or worse.

My dog did get into it a bit, and we've been in touch with the emergency vet. We will monitor her closely over the next 12-24 hours.

This may be a total false alarm, but I wanted to let any dog walkers out there know just in case, because this just gave me weird vibes.
