Why not remove the time restriction from the Journeys?

I've read a lot of comments from people complaining that Journeys feel like a chore and they just plough through some of the quests thoughtlessly. Which is a bit backward. That's not what the game is about, is it?

I think there is one way to improve the journeys for everyone. Journeys should be available as additional DLC chapters which you get to keep. No time restriction, so you can finish it at your own pace without the feeling you have a whip over your head. It would be great to have access to the journey's written story chapters too. I wish I could revisit those. I dont feel like the DLCs themself should be a time restricted purchase either. I dont understand why would CDPR take this route. Can you imagine having a time exclusive DLC purchases within The Witcher game.

I feel like everyone should have a chance to earn the character skins they like no matter when they joined Gwent.
