Pete Townshend tone

I'm aware he played Hiwatt amps during his 1969-1970 live performances and would often use his Univox Super Fuzz for songs like Heaven and Hell and Sparks. I want to achieve that fuzz tone so I'm looking for any recommendations for a clone of the Super Fuzz. Another question I have is there is a Catalinbread WIIO (WHO) pedal circulating but from what I've read the reissue focuses more on the Hiwatt sound rather than the early versions of the pedal with 4 knobs that also manipulated fuzz elements into the sound. This leads me to think if I were to get an early version of the WIIO pedal, would there be any need for a Super Fuzz clone for those who own these pedals? Just looking for insight as I'm fairly new into the pedal world. Thanks for the help!
