Corewell nurse tech
I most definitely bombed my chances of being a nurse tech. Just wanted to let it out here a bit.
We went over the resume I submitted. She asked about my classes. I told her it’ll end soon, and that the wait list for LPN program is up to a year.
The kind interviewer asked: What interested you in becoming a nurse tech at Corewell?
I had a lot to say, but due to my nervousness, I awkwardly said: “Well, because of the free training provided. I want to take my path to being nurse slowly, so I plan on um, patient care, having patient care experience before I become a nurse so that I’m confident when I become one.”
She asked me: “When was a time where you made a mistake at work and fixed it.”
I just told her that I didn’t warm up or exercise before doing heavy lifting, and that I fixed it by communicating with manager, and so I started to do warm ups. The end…
She asked me something about: How do you manage doing tasks at the same time?
I just mentioned: -Taking care of elderly and siblings, pets. I’d delegate some tasks to my older sibling to take parents to appt, etc.
Big sigh.
