Example: Santa Muerte, Alter Ego: The loved and feared "Saint of Death" worshiped by much of central America, La Santa Muerte is a unique being which Mages refer to as a "Modern Divinity." A "god" of the modern era which is able to exist and influence the world in spite of the continued decline of Mystery; the saint of death is viewed by many as a figure of love, wrath, justice and retribution, called upon to both protect and destroy. This vast range in power and dominion allows La Santa Muerte to manifest in nearly every class imaginable, which each of these different classes representing a different aspect of her worship.

This Alter Ego aspect of La Santa Muerte is unique as rather than representing one of the many attributed aspects or one of the groups which worship her, it instead represents her roots/origin. Put simply this version of the saint is a High Servant composed of the many Aztec and Mayan goddesses of death, and various folk saints who contributed to the Modern Divinity "La Santa Muerte." Mictēcacihuātl, Ītzpāpālōtl, and Catrina are but a few of the many divinities cohabitating in her Saint Graph.

Mictēcacihuātl, Pretender: The true identity of this servant is that of the goddess of death and queen of Mictlan, Mictēcacihuātl. An ancient god of the Aztec people said to rule the realm of the dead along side her husband, she was the guardian of the bones of mankind loved and feared as the mother of the grave. As stated in her false profile she was also one of the roots of the Modern Divinity La Santa Muerte, and she decided to manifest as the saint to disguise her true nature from her enemies. Interestingly she notes that not only does the real La Santa Muerte know of Mictēcacihuātl's use of her name but was actually the one to suggest this unusual form of manifesting as a servant.

NP: Descanso Final Mictlān: Here Where Only the Bones Remain: The Noble Phantasm of Mictēcacihuātl, a powerful Anti-Living Type Reality Marble which replicates the land of the dead which she rules over. While under the guise of La Santa Muerte, Mictēcacihuātl claims she is able to use this Noble Phantasm due to "that divinity" being her main basses, her foundation so to speak. This half truth weakens its power into a Bounded field which replicates the Aztec land of the dead, forcing it to first be established and to gradually grow from its center point, "La Santa Muerte's" house.

After revealing her identity to Chaldea this Noble Phantasms true power is unleashed, allowing Mictēcacihuātl to deploy it at any moment of her choosing as a Reality Marble which rejects the very concept of "Life" save those Mictēcacihuātl herself allows into her realm. In essence this Noble Phantasm is a spiritual poison which robs those caught within of life, all the while they are also forced to go through the trials of Mictlan, adding yet more danger to this world. Ironically "dead" beings such as the undead and even servants are immune to its spiritual poison since they are "already dead" but even so the trails are more than enough to kill even powerful gods if they are not careful.
