5 Beeps on Boot Need Help Troubleshooting

Hey everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with my Gigabyte H310M S2H motherboard, and I could really use some help.

I recently enabled Secure Boot in the BIOS, and after rebooting, I now get 5 beeps when trying to start the system, and there’s no display, not even on the BIOS screen. I’m using an Intel i3-9100F CPU and a GT 1030 GPU (no integrated graphics).

From what I’ve researched, 5 beeps typically indicate a CPU issue. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Reseated the CPU to make sure it's properly aligned.

  2. Cleared the CMOS (both using the jumper and removing the battery).

  3. Reseated the RAM and tried booting with a single stick.

  4. Checked all power connections to the motherboard and GPU.

Despite these attempts, I’m still getting the 5 beeps, and I’m not sure what the next step is. Does anyone have experience with this? Could it be a CPU failure, or should I be looking at something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
