Work and travel/ Gap year

I'll have finished school in a few months, and want to do a gap year or go work and travel abroad for about a year. Sadly, Germany would cut the child allowance that I would get till being 25 because the gap year is not related to my studies or formation.. thus I was wondering if there is a way to find a job that allows/sponsors a gap year in exchange for starting a formation/studying there later, and if that year would then count as "formation/studies related" and not cut my child allowance short. Hope I can find suggestions/clarifications (if i misunderstood the german system😅 prolly did somewhere.) or experiences here. Anything would be helpful :) ty
