Geography/River questions

I don’t know if this is a good place for this, but I’ve got questions about geography/rivers, and I’m not sure where to go to get those answered. I’d like to have a dialogue with someone because these are for a story in trying to write. So I’m looking for something more dynamic than just googling questions.
