Why do people from the Silent Generation sound nice to listen too?

I’ve noticed something kind of funny. People from the Silent Generation just sound good when they talk. Like, really good. There’s something so calm and oddly comforting about their voices, especially when they’re explaining something.

Morgan Freeman is the obvious one. His voice practically feels like it was handcrafted by the universe to narrate life itself. He could explain how grass grows or how to reset a router, and you'd still sit there fully invested. But it’s not just him. David Carradine had that same kind of slow, steady voice that made everything sound profound. It's like you were being guided through life by a mystical monk. Maybe that's why l like his monologues in the Kill Bill movies. Even Jack Nicholson, with his grittier voice, still has this smoothness underneath. There's many more. Judi Dench, Bob Ross, Maggie Smith, James Earl Jones, Helen Mirren, Julie Andrews, even Joe Biden sounds calming sometimes. Maybe it’s a generational thing. Maybe they were taught to speak slower and with intention, where every word mattered. There’s no rush, no filler, no hyperactive energy. It's just a calm presence that makes you want to listen.

It’s kind of wild. You could give any of them a random instruction manual and I’d believe I was hearing the secrets of the universe.
