Rate decade unity usage on birth years
Here's my take: I would give a 1 in overall. I heard how some people claim decade unity "solves" the problem in terms of relatability, which I disagree on that. I know it's the most convenient system for people who were born in the middle of decade, because they're equally separated from early and late borns.
Let's be honest, this system is extremely flawed. I can't see how people who were born in the end of decade can relate to nearly 10 years older than themselves and vice versa. Not to mention, the decade babies unity invalidate/infantilize half experiences of people that their birth years end in as "0".
Notable Examples:
- 1980s borns (People born in 1980-1989)
- 1990s borns (People born in 1990-1999)
- 2000s borns (People born in 2000-2009)
