I suggest Cavernous II, a time loop puzzle game
If you want a challenge and don't mind basic graphics, I recommend the free browser time loop puzzle game Cavernous II. You play as a square, but the gameplay is worth it.
You start in a cave, surrounded by rocks. Use the arrow keys to move. Move your character into a rock to mine it. Mining rock takes more time than moving through an already cleared path. Taking any action requires mana. When you run out of mana, you can't take further action until you reset. Resetting time moves your character back to the start and resets all the rock you mined.
You eventually find a special type of rock infused with mana, which grants increased max mana permanently across all loops when mined, however these rocks takes more time to mine each time they have already been mined. You will find yourself seeking out new mana sources and planning out faster routes to them while you search for a way out of the cave.
The interface is as basic as the graphics. On each loop, your actions are saved at the bottom of the screen, letting you see the exact actions you took and make adjustments without having to start from scratch every time. This takes some getting used to, however scripting the actions in this way allows you to control multiple characters at once (once you unlock them, which occurs early). The game has some good quality of life features, such as the ability to set actions for multiple characters at once. The game also records some of the paths you have taken, such as the fastest known route to each mana infused stone, however since your capabilities change over time, you will want to reoptimize your paths.
If this sounds interesting, it's worth giving Cavernous II a try. Its minimalist, but rewarding and available for free.
