What did you think about the book Ready Player One? I was so engrossed by all the amazing video game nostalgia, but the writing was just awful.

It was fun to relive games I hadn’t played in forever or to be reminded about lore I totally forgot about, but beyond the world building the core story was so poorly written and cheesy. Not like “ha ha funny 80’s cheesy”, just plain lazy writing cheesy. He was an expert in every single game? In every random tv show? And the dialogue.. oh God the dialogue was terrible.
