Question about Frame Generation:
I know how FrameGen works and what it's benefits, but especially it's weakpoints are.
But I'm not sure about one thing: Does capping my framerate mean that it generates "less fake frames"?
What I mean is this:
If my base framerate is 60 FPS and I activate FrameGen (while ignoring any overhead to simplify) I get double that, so 120 FPS. Every second frame is now a generated frame.
If I now cap the FPS to let's say 90 FPS, do I always get 2 rendered frames followed by 1 "fake frame"?
And if so, could this be used to get get a final image that's a bit closer to native than a 1:1 scenario, while also looking a bit smoother?
