I want one!

I (35F) was talking to my wife (31F), and I mentioned having a Furby as a kid. She never had one. I remember wanting one SO bad. My mom finally took me to KB Toys to get one, and I got so excited when I saw the Dalmation Furby that I literally started crying. My mom still tells this story from time to time, lol.

Anyway, I didn't even know they were still a thing. I can't believe there's a whole subreddit!

Would it be weird for us to get a couple at our age? Not as collector's items but to literally play with?

Also, should we go for originals? It seems like there are lots of different versions including the most recent (though I'm not a big fan of the look of the newest ones). The originals seem to have the most color options, but they can really get up there in price! We want to get ones that can "talk" to each other. Thoughts?
