Do green tree frogs make interactive pets?

I'm trying to decide whether to get a green tree frog or a box turtle (they're pretty much the only amphibians and reptiles allowed as pets in my country). I'm mainly doing this to make me feel less lonely- I don't think I have what it takes emotionally or financially to have a cat or dog. Do green tree frogs make interactive pets?
